    - Organizations in the hospitality industry are under constant pressure to meet change, develop their structures, and improve performance. Therefore hospitality organizations need to employ effective leadership to improve their overall performance. This study investigates the influence of gender on the leadership behavior of managers in 5-Star hotels in North Cyprus. Leadership behavior was classified according to the leaders' power and behavior as autocratic, democratic, charismatic, and laissezfaire.
